Catholic college equates gays with murderers; has at least one closeted student crying self to sleep tonight

by Jeremy Hooper

I most know Franciscan University of Steubenville from a speech that Maggie Gallagher delivered to its student body back in the spring of 2010. Now the school scores a new blip on the "culture war" radar:

The Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio faces questions about its accreditation because of a course description that links homosexuality with crimes like murder, rape and robbery.

The university's social work program offers the course, called SWK 314 Deviant Behavior. The course description reads: "The behaviors that are primarily examined are murder, rape, robbery, prostitution, homosexuality, mental illness and drug use."

Dangerous and disgusting. The very thing that will lend "justification" to that one student who has strong and targeted ideas about what does and does not qualify as a physical education requirement.
