DNC Night 3—one unfortunate choice #DNC2012

by Jeremy Hooper

Tonight's closing Benediction will be delivered by Cardinal Timothy Dolan. This Cardinal Dolan:

Archbishop Timothy Dolan blogged that “history, natural law, the Bible...the religions of the world, human experience, and just plan gumption tells us” marriage is between a man and a woman.

“The definition of marriage is hardwired into our human reason,” Dolan wrote. “To tamper with that definition, or to engage in some Orwellian social engineering about the nature and purpose of marriage, is perilous to all of us.”

There's a lot of positive on tonight's slate. This isn't part of it.
