Harry Jackson at FRC summit: God will fix the economy if we sufficiently shun gays

by Jeremy Hooper

At an FRC "let's tell Christians to vote Republican this fall by using coded language that never actually uses the word Republican" press conference held yesterday in Charlotte, anti-equality activist Harry Jackson said the following as Tony Perkins, Rick Santorum, and Pastor Mark Harris looked on in satisfaction:

"God will take his hand off of America"…if we [vote against marriage equality] then we believe Christ will honor America and that the jobs will come but the jobs will come around to a pro-marriage, pro-family agenda"

Well of course Harry Jackson thinks banning and generally condemning gays is an economic stimulus. Hell, the man has made a mint doing this very thing over the past decade!
