Preserve Marriage Washingon head proudly denigrates gay families

by Jeremy Hooper

The so-called Preserve Marriage Washington coalition has placed the National Organization For Marriage's Chris Plante front and center in their campaign to rollback civil marriage equality. PMW just posted a new photo of Plante meeting with local Chinese leaders:

Despite himself being from Rhode Island, Plante is also all over local media as one of the two primary voices for the campaign (Joseph Backholm being the other).

So this being the case, I thought it might be time to remind Washington residents of what low regard this very same Plante has not only for same-sex couples' right to marry but also their right to raise families. Listen to this disgusting clip:

He says he'll stand on it; perhaps it's time we make him. What do you say, Washington United?

**MORE: Plante has also referred to same-sex marriage as "tragic"—on par with divorce and death:

"When parents die and we have orphans...
we see those as tragic situations.
Same-sex marriage enshrines a tragic situation into law,
where a child is intentionally denied either his mother or his father.
