Audio: NOM's increasingly unfiltered Roback Morse continues to show org's true colors

by Jeremy Hooper

Yesterday on NOM Exposed, I unearthed audio of National Organization For Marriage leader Jennifer Roback Morse admitting that she wants gay people to be celibate and wants all faith leaders to adopt this perspective. Now, via my pal Carlos Maza, comes more denigration from a person who earns a six figure salary from NOM:

NOM’s Morse: Gay Marriage Will Let People With "Drug Problems, Who Are Mentally Unstable," Who Aren't Sure If They're Gay Get Married [EQ Matters]

Not sure why Jennifer Roback Morse would even make these points since none of the things she mentions are specific to LGBT people? Oh well here, let me explain: Jennifer Roback Morse wants Americans to see LGBT people as largely broken, afflicted, and unfit. Rather subtly (e.g. people with drug problems will marry!) or overtly (e.g. gays must stop being gay!), she wants to cast us out of the spectrum of acceptable normalcy. That is the game, kids.

I take no pleasure in noting this, a particularly disturbing reality within our modern socio-political life. But we'll all take even less pleasure in the NOM agenda, should it be allowed to follow through to its logical end.
