Iowans For Freedom pushes idea that gays can & should 'change'

by Jeremy Hooper

The campaign that is trying to oust an Iowa Supreme Court judge simply because he cast an opinion with which they disagree is promoting a new, in-house e-book:

So what does this e-book suggest for those gays folks who are able to marry in their state thanks to the reasoned, legally sound views on judges like Wiggins? Well, they are pushing the scientifically-discredited idea that gays can and should "change," natch:

Because of course they do. That's where these kinds of campaigns always culminate—at the doors of organizations like Exodus International. All involved with deny that they have larger motives. Many mainstream media outlets will still address their campaigns with cursory reporting that doesn't delve into what they are saying about us when the spotlight isn't at bright. But at the end of the day, almost all of these organizations culminate in the idea that we LGBT folk are innately broken and in need of "saving."

But yet it's a unanimous panel of trained judges who are acting out an activist agenda? Puh-leeze.
