Just this week, the Minnesota For Marriage campaign, acting in tandem with its staunch allies at the Minnesota Catholic Conference, hosted Most Rev. Terrence Prendergast to share his views about what civil marriage equality has supposedly done to Canada:

So what does Terrence Prendergast see as LGBT people's acceptable role within society? Celibacy, natch:

"People in this situation, if they are not able to overcome that and be drawn towards marriage, they are called to live a celibate lifestyle"

Ya know, I'm really beginning to think these campaigns (which are almost exclusively Catholic at this point) don't really plan to end their fight at just marriage. What about you?
