Basically, the whole marriage inequality game is crashing. Hard.

NOM's disturbing attempt to "drive a wedge between black and gays" is really not working. Nice report from the San Francisco Chronicle's Bob Egelko:

I, for one, cannot wait for this "conventional wisdom" and its associated media coverage to fall away. Its overstatement and deliberate cultivation have been among the more disturbing elements of this whole marriage debate.
