NOM pushes the Parkers; okay, so let's look again at 'ex-gay' advocate David Parker and his 'gay=disease' views

by Jeremy Hooper

The National Organization For Marriage has posted a long form video of David and Tonia Parker pretending that their one lone tale of woe from Massachusetts trumps the tens of thousands of other parental tales of support that greet Massachusetts public schools every single day:

(*also worth noting that this video uses images from the uber-extreme MassResistance group)

So since NOM is determined to push the Parkers and their views, let's remind folks of what David Parker really believes about LGBT people. As you will hear, his view, just like NOM's, goes well beyond the matter of marriage itself:

#1) He admits he sees homosexuality as a disease:

#2) Transgender humans are lying both "scientifically and morally":

#3) Belittles gay-headed families by analogizing them with gangs:

#4) Gay people "use" their children:

#5) More; we "use" the existence of our families to "deviantly and subtly" indoctrinate:

#6) We're making "incursions" into kids' psyches:

#7) Homosexuality is a "proclivity" and "conduct"; more accusations of "using" children:

#8) Laments inability to push religious and "ex-gay" teaching into schools:

#9) Says treatment of parents like him constitutes "segregation"

#10) Says people who write pro-LGBT news (in this case a Bay Windows reporter) possess a "deviant and devious psychology":

#11) Equates pro-LGBT teaching with a sexual predator in a park:

#12) Claims schools are teaching "how to sodomize":

#13) Encourages "ex-gay" perspective:

#14) More "ex-gay," this time connecting homosexuality (which he calls "bondage) to "sexual trauma":

#15) When reminded that same-sex marriage is legal in Massachusetts, replies, "like I said, prostitution is legal in Nevada":

Guess NOM didn't have time to include these, the animus-driven reasons that led David Parker to make a stink and get himself arrested. Maybe next martyrdom (and there surely will be another).
