Finding namesake too 'moey, American Family Association looks abroad

by Jeremy Hooper

The social conservatives have sure learned to love Russia. That's because, to hear the American Family Association's One News Now tell it, that nation has seen "America's error" and plans to do something about it before that pesky gay takes hold:

Russia is preparing to debate and act on legislation barring homosexuality from the public arena, including homosexual "pride" parades. The country is moving to ban same-sex "marriage" and even public acts of affection between homosexuals.
...
As an evangelist who works in Russia,Tim Todd tells OneNewsNow that is quite a contrast to America, which has the most pro-homosexual president in the country's history. Todd, who heads Revival Fires International and has worked in Russia, understands that country's stand against the homosexual agenda.

"America is opening the floodgate -- and if you want to know what God thinks about the sin of homosexuality, you can look at his urban renewal development plan in Sodom and Gomorrah," he points out. "It gives you a pretty good idea."

...
"[In America] there is open, blatant homosexuality on television and on the Internet where the homosexuals have come out of their hideouts in publicly proclaiming their sinful activity," he observes.
FULL PIECE (and what a piece it is): RUSSIA SEES AMERICA’S ERROR, MAY BAN PUBLIC HOMOSEXUALITY [ONN]

And, and, and—Modern Family is on primetime television. And "here comes the bride" sometimes needs to be pluralized. And, oh—there's this whole inclusive service thing now, where taxpaying citizens who love their nation enough to fight and possibly die for it are able to serve without an extra level of worry based around who they love. That damn America and its decent treatment of its citizenry!! [::writer rolls eyes, shakes head, takes chug from his White Russian::]

No word as to when the AFA will go ahead and change itself into the RFA. I say: Put your initialism where your mouth is!
