Komen founder puts pink ribbon on civil rights present

Nancy Brinker, founder of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is taking a public stand for marriage equality:

It may look like a bit of PR-savvy outreach to liberals turned off by Komen’s actions. But it’s also another cause genuinely close to Nancy Brinker’s heart: Eric, 37, is gay and talking publicly about it for the first time.

And just like that, social conservatives find another kind of race (the Race for the Cure) to claim we equality activists are falsely equating with sexual orientation.
