NCTE seeks a baker's dozen (including protections for trans bakers)

-- An Executive Order prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation by federal contractors.

-- The Social Security Administration updating its gender change and other policies affecting transgender people

-- The Department of Education issuing Title IX guidelines ensuring that transgender students can go through the school day as they are and not who others insist they be

-- Another reality TV vehicle for Chaz Bono

Three of the above make up the National Center For Transgender Equality's thirteen goals for '13. For the other ten, check out NCTE:
