NOM co-opts beer-loving Obama endorser for its discriminatory march

by Jeremy Hooper

Actor Jonathan Goldsmith endorsed President Obama and said of his decision, "I don't want to go back…I want to go forward." NOM endorsed Mitt Romney and would like nothing better for this country to go back, particularly when it comes to the increasing legalization of marriage for same-sex couples.

Nevertheless, NOM is using the character that made Jonathan Goldsmith famous, that of Dos Equis' "most interesting man in the world" pitchman, to promote its upcoming march for marriage. Someone at NOM has created this meme with this caption:

Hmm. I guess that's one way to caption it. I, however, would go another way:

And that other [X] cannot come soon enough!
