NOM has given up pretending it's anything other than an anti-gay group

by Jeremy Hooper

It's no longer about marriage. With this, the National Organization For Marriage is forever an anti-LGBT organization

We've seen shades of this in the past. NOM has blasted our adoptions and has vilified our family structures. But at least there was some tangential relationship to marriage.

This is a whole new thing. The subject here is simple inclusivity. NOM didn't have to say anything about this, since it has NOTHING to do with the organization's stated interests. But they have chosen to join the crowd who wants to make gay people seem unsafe for kids. They have chosen pure animus for what they consider our "alternative 'values'."NOM just changed the game.

Oh, and NOM: That's Mr. %%FIRST%% to you.
