Michigan winter winding down; cold chapter of state's history to follow suit?
I second my pal Joe—this potentially historic marriage case in Michigan was not at all on my radar:
SNIP: U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman will hear arguments in the case Thursday at a Detroit law school, although he hasn't indicated when he'll make a ruling. If he concludes the amendment violates the U.S. Constitution, gay-marriage supporters say same-sex couples would immediately be allowed to wed and adopt children.

So he's listening on Thursday? Okay, so we'll give him until Monday to rule. It doesn't take that long to read the constitution.
Okay, okay—Tuesday. Justice has been delayed so long in the state; what's one more day?
