NOM's Roback Morse: Gays 'can stop acting in a gay way'

Carlos Maza brings us another quip from the one National Organization For Marriage senior staffer who is most on record admitting that she wants gay people to stop being gay:

NOM's Morse: Gay Rights Aren't Civil Rights Because Gay People Can "Stop Acting In A Gay Way" [Equality Matters]

The "ex-lesbian" she is talking about is Linda Jernigan. This would be the same Linda Jernigan who says homosexuality is "Satan's plan," who says "you have to be in an inebriated state" to have gay sex, and who says the gay rights movement was created by a "demonic spirit" (to name just a few of Jernigan's countless hits). Let's not pretend that she just stopped being gay because of actual sexual orientation shifts.

Oh, and this also reminds me: Next week is the one year anniversary since we all learned NOM's expressed strategy to "drive a wedge" between gays and blacks. Anything NOM says about African-American civil rights in relation to LGBT civil rights must be viewed through this lens.
