AFA pushes claim that LGBT movement is 'utterly insane'; will soon replace 'ex-gay' therapy with 'straight' jacket?

by Jeremy Hooper

Just something any responsible outlet might run as a headline:

American Family Association's One News Now]

(1) Chelsea Manning is Chelsea Manning, not a representative of any movement.

(2) Gender dysphoria is fully in line with science, not insanity.

(3) Pretty funny hearing a claim of "utter insanity" from an organization whose top spokesman has said some of the most reality-disconnected things one could imagine.

But of course the anti-LGBT movement is losing—badly, daily, and resoundingly. If this movement's commentators and media outlets want to keep collecting a paycheck off of this fight, they have to go full-on nuclear. The new scheme seems to go beyond fighting our actual movement goals and messaging, instead characterizing our totality—all of us, in full—as downright insane.

Bring it.
