Doctors ordered: FRC demands PA physicians support its discriminatory agenda

by Jeremy Hooper

Doctors know marriage's benefits, which is one reason why a growing number of professional organizations are coming out for equal access. To stem this tide, the aggressively anti-LGBT Family Research Council is working behind the scenes to shape the state-level votes so that these docs place value on discrimination instead:

Of course "stay neutral" is the code that faith-based groups like FRC always use. Since they frame this whole thing as a "culture war," they consider simple support for LGBT people to be an act of aggression. They do this because they want to hide the fact that supporting LGBT human beings is a scientifically sound and responsible thing of value. Their ultimate goal is opposition; "neutral" is just a stepping stone on this path. "Neutral" give them credence.

Responsible doctors will neutralize this threat.
