Video: Rick Santorum determined to define his legacy with histrionic homo hostility

by Jeremy Hooper

A hit maker likes to stick with his or her greatest hits, so it's not like I'm shocked to hear former US Senator and presidential also-ran Rick Santorum continuing to obsess over LGBT people, our lives, our loves, and protections. But it notable that he's now claiming marriage equality is going to completely destroy all that is America:

Screen Shot 2013-10-18 At 9.27.21 AmSaying that "Christians are the most tolerant people in the world," Santorum claimed that Christian opposition to gay marriage is no longer being tolerated and declared that "for the Republican Party to even contemplate going along with this is the destruction of our republic"
FULL (and video): Santorum: GOP Support For Gay Marriage Will Be 'The Destruction Of Our Republic' [Right Wing Watch]

Stay tuned for Santorum's next speech, where he'll propose we change the pledge of allegiance to read: "And to the republic, for which it stands. That is until the man marries the man."
