Video: Turns out you can put scientifically-discredited propaganda to music

The "ex-gay" advocacy group Voice of the Voiceless has selected its movement's new theme song. Here is the winning tune, called "Rise Up," as crooned by longtime "homo-B-gone" activist Dennis Jernigan:

Rise up all you want, "ex-gay" movement. On a personal level, you are free to rise, fall, or plateau in any way that meshes with your life. The choice is yours.

Just don't think, expect, or (especially) demand that we* all accept your "rise" as something other than a ruse.


**And by we, I don't just mean LGBT activists. I mean scientists. And doctors. And more than a few ex-"ex-gays." And so on.
