Petty AFA 'news' site can't even write the word 'gay'

by Jeremy Hooper

This is pretty funny. One News Now, the "news" outlet of the rabidly anti-LGBT American Family Association posted a story with this headline:

But apparently someone higher up at AFA caught wind of this headline, which used gay instead of homosexual, and without smear quotes to boot. So within a few minutes of posting, the headline changed to this:

Screen Shot 2013-11-06 At 8.34.38 Am

The initial post is now a dead link:

All so we "homosexuals" can be put in our proper place, linguistically if not politically.

What a petty, petty move. But hey, whatever. Let them have their smear quotes and antiquated terms. I'll take our unceasing chain of victory, thank you very much.
