NOM prez, anti-gay 'bisexual' throwing anti-equality rally in Utah
Using promotional images from a French rally, for some strange reason, the National Organization For Marriage has just announced that its president, Brian Brown, will join the anti-gay-yet-apparently-bisexual Robert Oscar López, a man who claims there is a direct connection between same-sex parenting and slavery, in a pro-discrimination effort on behalf of Utahns:
Um, yes, they are, in fact, against someone. Namely, against me, my husband, and my daughter. This rally, telling both gay people that they are undeserving of equality and children of gay couples that they are born into a sad state of affairs, is a direct assault on my household, no matter how fully they spin their hostile cause of gender their rally signs.
Also, I'd probably try to get at least one speaker who is, you know—actually from Utah. At least give the impression of an organic movement. As it stands, the whole thing looks like D.C. (or Paris?) astroturf.
The whole thing is just gross. NOM looks worse with every passing year.
**UPDATE: Seriously, you have to check out Lopez' rhetoric. It is some of the worst, oddest, and most over-the-top out there: Robert Oscar López [GLAAD CAP]
