Video: Diary of an Obsession: Bryan Fischer edition

by Jeremy Hooper

Every one of the following clips come from one show. All four are from today's edition of the American Family Association senior issues analyst's daily radio show, in which the always-obsessed host talked about little else. He lashed out at onetime golden boy Dan Cathy and "the gay Gestapo" that has supposedly silenced him. He suggested that God will avenge for homosexuality (and abortion) the way he incited a Civil War against the sin of slavery. He directly equated gay people with alcoholics. Oh, and he accused the First Lady of somehow discriminating against the White House's gay pastry chef, even though he completely butchers the story (he is resigning because FLOTUS inspired him to take a new job focused on food and health).

Clips are cued; listen to as much or as little as you want:

WIFE: "Honey, what did you do at work today?"

FISCHER: "Oh, you know, the usual—talked more about gay people than the editor of The Advocate, a gay porn producer, the LGBT congressional caucus, and Lady Gaga combined."
