Reminder: Head of PA's anti-LGBT movement thinks marriage equality will turn God against nation

by Jeremy Hooper

The Pennsylvania family Institute is the leading group fighting against us in the state. Any news article you read about the PA marriage ruling will likely include a quote or two from someone from PFI, likely its twenty-three-year head, Michael Geer.

That being the case, I thought I should bring back this old clip, since it's highly unlikely that Geer will be so candid today, when the spotlight is on his org:

To me, this is kind of like someone who supports "ex-gay" nonsense (which Geer does as well). If you think that I should be "changed," the fact of the matter is that you are never going to back any one of my rights or protections. The same goes for thinking that my marriage recognition is a turn off to God. If you really believe that God will no longer bless a nation that has marriage equality, then you've pretty much said all you need to say on the subject. Everything else beyond that is just kind of noise.
