Video: Ben Carson's gay rights compromise: You don't get to marry, he gets to be smug

by Jeremy Hooper

Fresh off of his gig speaking at the National Organization For Marriage's gala, conservative hero Ben Carson, who has directly equated same-sex marriage with bestiality and NAMBLA, is now telling gay people that he will totally "compromise" on marriage because he's not a "homophobe." His self-interested compromise involves gay people being denied the right to marry while he attacks our unions as being on par with mathematical error:

You know, I might be annoyed about him not believing in my marriage, family, or associated rights. However, this GOP superstar doesn't believe in evolution either. Our beautiful natural kingdom, as it is and has been for millions of years, doesn't seem to really be his bag.
