Nine former water-carriers for 'ex-gayness' join all credible scientists in denouncing 'ex-gay' propaganda

Screen Shot 2014-07-31 At 1.17.06 PmEarlier this week I brought you my exclusive interview with Yvette Cantu Schneider, a longtime laborer with the scientifically discredited "ex-gay" movement who is now a strong critic of the junk science and its harm. Today I'm happy to report that Yvette has joined eight other former heads of "ex-gay" organizations in order to further drain the snake oil:

(San Francisco, CA, July 31, 2014)—Today, nine former leaders of so-called “ex-gay” ministries published a joint letter denouncing the dangerous practices of conversion therapy and lending their support to the National Center for Lesbian Rights’ #BornPerfect campaign to end conversion therapy in five years.

In the deeply personal letter, these nine leaders—including founders of Exodus International and Coming Back—recall their own struggles with being LGBT and what led them to propagate these ministries.
