Tony Perkins: 'The days are evil' because the military respects Muslim American soldiers, holidays

by Jeremy Hooper

To sell his truly disturbing attack on religious freedom in this country, the exceedingly anti-gay Family Research Council president has to set up the lie that the U.S. armed forces, under President Obama, are somehow anti-Christian and supposedly hostile to Christian holidays. This is of course a bald-faced and politically-driven lie. But Tony Perkins sells that lie so that he can pretend that the military under President Obama, who he insists is himself a closet practitioner of the Islamic faith, is somehow wrong or even "evil" for doing nothing more than respecting the government-recognized holiday of Ramadan.

Have a listen:

You ever get the sense that Tony's real issue is that there exist people who are different from himself?
