TN pastor unapologetic about making local gay teens hate themselves

by Jeremy Hooper

Screen Shot 2014-09-03 At 12.51.23 Pm Repent or die. That is the message a Southern Baptist pastor in the Chattanooga area is sending to young LGBT people in his area:

“God said that the sins of the people had infected the very land in which they live,” he explained. “So what happens to people who engage in this activity, this sexual immoral activity? Go to Leviticus 20, God gives us the punishment for engaging in these sins… ‘If a man sleeps with a man as with a woman, they have both committed a detestable thing. They must be put to death. And their blood is on their own hands.’”
...
[Brainerd Baptist Church Senior Pastor Robby Gallaty] went on to opine that “homosexuality is an attack on the family and the marriage.”

“It’s the most lethal attack we have today against the family,” he insisted. “And if the enemy can ruin the family, he wins.”

TN pastor vows not to ‘repent’ for homophobia: God says gays ‘must be put to death’ [Raw Story]

This pastor is of course not alone. This is happening at altars across the nation. And it is a true social blight.
