Affects of Ohio marriage ban not limited to homo-gays

by Jeremy Hooper

Think same-sex marriage bans only affect the butt pirates and Sapphic sweeties? Well think again, my hetero homies.

Ohio judge Stuart Friedman ruled yesterday that the state's constitutional ban on gay marriages prohibits all single people from filing domestic violence charges.

In his defense, Judge Friedman is quoted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer as saying that "anyone who assumed the ruling was based on any kind of personal, legal or social agenda would be wrong," and that "following the law can sometimes mean taking a path to some 'unfamiliar or even frightening' places."

Yes, we are indeed frightened. More so everyday, actually.

UPDATE: More frightening rulings coming out of Ohio
