Gay adoption, as interpreted by VA governor wannabes
In an interview with the AP, Independent (former Republican) Virginia gubernatorial candidate Russ Potts voiced his support for cohabiting homo-gay couples and single gay adults adopting children.
In a separate interview, Republican candidate Jerry Kilgore says that he is flatly opposed to adoption by any gays, coupled or single.
Democratic candidate Tim Kaine has indicated that he's against adoption by gay couples, yet supports the right of a gay individual to partake in the child-granting fun.
As for Virginia foster kids awaiting adoption, they are said to be firm in their position of not wanting to know the first thing about their new parents' sex lives, straight or gay.
