Phelps clan reportedly blows yet another town's budget
Earlier this week, we told you about the costs the city of Plattsburg, NY incurred when the God Hates Fag rabid dog and witless pony show came to their fair town for a lil' visit. Additionally, we reminded you how local authorities in Dracut, MA and Tracy, CA also reported high 'fag-hating' costs ($2,200 and $10,000 respectively) when the Phelpseseses rolled into their locales. Well today comes word of yet another 'fag-hating' receipt, this one from Litchfield, New Hampshire, where the crew had announced a picket of local Campbell High School's June 7 graduation ceremony (due to an openly gay student), though they ultimately failed to materialize.
So how much was this non-event? Well, according to the Nashua Telegraph, the local school board is giving the town $4,596 to help cover the cost of increased emergency services, on-hand and ready for the herd to carry out their eventually cancelled gig. The school system was not required to cover the high costs, they simply did so to show their appreciation for the services of the tightly budgeted men and women in uniform.
As for the Phelpseseses, they really need to step up their act if they're gonna keep raking in this exorbitant booking fee. Holding signs and condemning folks to hell, though once shocking, has gotten sooo stale. Maybe incorporate a few scenes from Gigi or perhaps a mime act? Margie, Shirl, and Jael could do a little clogging routine, possibly? Something, kids; this sh*t be gettin' expensive, babies.
