EQCA giving 'no props' to Ahnold
Still reeling from Gov. Schwarzenegger's recent decision to veto a bill that would've legalized gay marriage in the Golden State, the west coast activists at Equality California are urging citizens to vote against five different "anti-equality" propositions supported by the Governator. EQCA says Props 73-77 would "reverse substantial gains in civil rights," and they are therefore encouraging Californians to vote "no" in the state's Schwarzenegger-initiated special elections of Nov. 8.
Relatedly, we hear that EQCA would also like to recommend that you refrain from using the phrases "i'll be back" or "hasta la vista, baby" when departing social situations; avoid watching Kindergarten Cop should it come on cable; and stop referring to Maria Shriver as "your favorite NBC personality of yesteryear."
