Like an ignorant phoenix who detests homos, the Federal Marriage Amendment again rises from the right wing ass..err, ashes
Today in that bipartistan land of bitchery known as Washington D.C., a Senate sub committee will begin hearings in a new attempt by Republican lawmakers to pass a federal amendment banning 'mo marriage. Witnesses speaking both for and against the nuptial-nixing measure will testify to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Property Rights, though we're hearing word that only the pro-gay side will be telling the truth.
No word on who will be testifying against same-sex marriage, though calls to my mother have today gone curiously unreturned.
