Poll: Majority of Mainers will allow gay rights law to remain resident
A new Survey USA poll, conducted for WCSH 6 Portland, WLBZ 2 Bangor, and the Bangor Daily News, found that if the November 8 election were held now, 56% of Maine voters would reject overturning the state's anti-gay discrimination law.
Relatedly, a new Good As You crystal ball predicts that if such a notion were being debated fifty years from now, the majority of Mainers would shout in unison, "What the hell is the backwards bullsh*t?"
