Study: Queer parents don't ruin kids' lives
New research compiled from 15 studies on more than 500 children, suggests that kids who grow up in households with gay parents tend to not have their lives destroyed by the homo-sex in their midst. Tufts University Professor Ellen C. Perrin MD, who presented these findings at the American Academy of Pediatrics Conference and Exhibition, tells WebMD:
"The vast consensus of all the studies shows that children of same-sex parents do as well as children whose parents are heterosexual in every way," going on to say, "In some ways children of same-sex parents actually may have advantages over other family structures."
Number one advantage: The consolidation of Father's/Mother's day into one giant celebration makes parent-honoring duties much more efficient, giving kids of gays another day a year to celebrate the fact that the world revolves around them. Ungrateful rugrats.
