Better never than late: Another claims Katrina shat from God's wrath
Northern Ireland lawmaker Maurice Mills (pic.) has become the latest personality to insinuate that Hurricane Katrina was sent to punish gays, saying, in part:
“Surely, this is a warning to nations where such wickedness is increasingly promoted and practiced. This abominable and filthy practice and sodomy has resulted in the great continent of Africa being riddled with AIDS, all at great cost to the nations and innocent children.”
To which there is, of course, only one reply: Too late, dude. The statute of limitations for blaming homosexuals for bringing about the death of thousands in one of the worst natural disasters to ever hit U.S. soil has expired, my friend. You get two months, tops, to stigmatize 'mos as Godless society wreckers -- everyone knows this.
Be sure to keep an eye out for future Mills statements, when, we hear, Tardy McSlow will blame atheists for the Hindenburg disaster, lesbians for the sinking of the Titanic, and bisexuals for the 1631 eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
