'Kiss-in' leads collegiate GOPer to pucker up to 'da punim of lawsuit frivolity
The vice chair of the University of Nevada-Reno's Republican Club, Matt Beisner, is attempting to sue three of the school's gay rights-focused groups, due to a "kiss-in" they recently held to protest the presence of military recruiters on campus. In his suit against the UNR Queer Student Union, Nevada Students for Peace and Solidarity, and Act Now to Stop War and End Racism, Beisner accuses the smooching protesters of verbally abusing and intimidating students who were trying to talk to the recruiters.
The whole thing seems rather silly and baseless, though it does admittedly lead us have second thoughts regarding our own upcoming "give an HJ-in" for marriage equality, "finger bang-in" for hate crime legislation, and "dry hump-in" for partner benefits.
