KKK vs. Gay Gay Gay in Austin Austin Austin

by Jeremy Hooper

According to local reports, only about twelve KKK members turned out for the group's "pro-family values"/anti-gay marriage rally this Saturday in Austin, TX, none of whom wore the ivory ensembles one typically associates with the "White rules, the rest of the rainbow of humanity can suck it"-declaring kkklan.

Meanwhile, the same reports indicate that around 3,000 counter demonstrators gathered at City Hall to oppose the kkkooks, some of which undoubtedly wore the rainbow-adorned ensembles oft associated with the "We're Here, We're Queer" set.

No word on whether either group had any effect on the queer nuptial opinions of Texas voters, many of which have been wearing on our nerves with their whole "We're anti-gay marriage in order to protect the children" bullsh*t. We guess we'll see tomorrow, when Texans head to the polls to determine if Lone Star State gays will ever get the chance to adorn themselves with the formal wear customary to moseying down the aisle of matrimony. Here's hoping a vast majority will be wearing their sensible shoes and thinking caps when they head off to pick a side and pull a lever.
