Openly gay victoires à trois in Ohio
As the election results pour in, it seems that Maine was not the only state to serve up a victory for the LGBT community last night, as three openly gay candidates, Joe Santiago, Mark Tumeo, and Nickie Antonio (pic., clockwise), were all elected to the City Council of their respective Northeast Ohio regions.
Nothing much to say on this really, except: Congrats new council members! May your terms be fruitful, your new chairs comfy, and local antipathy for your "lifestyle choices" minimal.

**Update: A reader has informed us that another openly gay Ohioan, Mary Jo Hudson, also retained her seat on the Columbus City Council. So yea, congrats to you too, MJ!
