Q TV coming 2 NYC THURS

by Jeremy Hooper

The Q Television network has announced that starting this Thursday, Time Warner Digital Cable subscribers in New York and New Jersey will be offered the 24/7 gay network on channel 326.

Most excited about the announcement are said to be Q's new surrounding neighbors, PPV InDemand 9 and the Spice Hot Channel, who've been hoping some nice gays would come in and class up the high-digited ghetto for quite some time. Least excited are of course the area's anti-gays, who though represented in less abundant numbers than the rest of the nation, are still hellbent on protecting the sanctity of their pay television. Kinda excited, kinda whatever are the area's jaded gays, who will likely both welcome and bitch about the programming in the same breath.

All three fictional groups, however, agree that Martha Stewart's "Apprentice" sucks dog anus.

Q Television Network to Launch Throughout Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey; Digital 24/7 Gay and Lesbian Channel Available November 17, 2005 [Q Press Release via BusinessWire]
