Stonewall Dems to party like it's 2006
The National Stonewall Democrats have announced that on Sunday, November 13, exactly one-year before the 2006 elections, they will throw/ encourage others to throw "retirement parties" in anticipation of notoriously anti-gay Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum's (possible) defeat.
Not to be outdone, we will soon announce plans to throw nationwide "bar mitzvahs" commemorating the thirteen years that have passed since Pat Buchanan declared the start of the "culture war" at the '92 Republican National Convention; international "proms," just because we like formal wear; and nationwide "baby showers" recognizing the impending birth of equality, due to pop out of America's uterus any day now.
