Ugh, what an idiom!

by Jeremy Hooper

Responding to yesterday's Washington Supreme Court decision allowing a lesbian to sue for parental rights to the non-biolgical daughter that she raised with the child's mother for the first six years of her life, the American Family Association's Brian Fahling (pic.) says:

"This decision is judicial activism in the extreme; it is evidence, not that we are on a slippery slope, but that we are already at the bottom of that slope"

Not satisfied with expounding on just one fear-mongering idiomatic phrase, we hear that Fahling went on to say that the ruling is also evidence that it's not only raining cats and dogs, but rather lions and tigers; the shit hasn't hit the fan, but rather the diarrhea has coated it; you give the gays an inch, they won't only take a mile, but rather they'll take six; society has jumped out of the frying pan, out of the fire, and into the really hot, blue flames; and sticks and stones may break my bones, but judicial activism will destroy society.
