CCL of Maine looks in crystal ball, puts fear-mongering pen to intolerant paper

by Jeremy Hooper

Speaking out against the anti-gay discrimination law that went into effect yesterday in the Pine Tree State, the Christian Civic League of Maine issued a press release saying, in part:

"In the coming months and years, as the apostles of unreason and disorder uphold pleasure as man’s highest good, society will continue to unravel at an alarming rate, and the havoc they have wreaked will rise up as a witness against them.

We fully expect the push for sodomistic “marriage” to begin at once. Indeed the call for “full equality,” a code word for sodomistic marriage, is already being heard among gay rights organizations in Maine. Such a development does not represent social progress; rather, it is a giant step backwards, for it heralds the imminent demise of the family, the institution on which all other institutions rest.

Today, as in all times past, the debauched and maniacal call for gay rights and homosexual “marriage” is not to be celebrated, rather it is to be mourned as the harbinger of the death of a civilization.
"

Responding to the CCL of Maine, we say, in full: "Hey, can we borrow your crystal ball for a sec? If it's powerful enough to show you society's ultimate demise, it's certainly capable of showing us which numbers will be chosen in tomorrow's Mega Millions lottery. We could really use an assload of cash. After all, if the totality of the universe is gonna come to an end due to us pesky gays, we might as well celebrate now, right? Oh, but can you put some sort of a filter on it so that it doesn't show us who'll win "Project Runway?" We really hate spoilers. Thanks guys."
