Diana Ross fans and the Supremes: LGBT groups say nope to Alito nod
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (The Taskforce), National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) today announced their opposition to the nomination (nod) of Samuel A. Alito (Sammy A.) to the United States (U.S.) Supreme Court (The Supremes).
Not to be outdone, we'd like to voice our opposition to anyone who doesn't think retiring justice Sandra Day O'Conner is one hot piece of tail. Like a fine Pinot Noir aged to perfection, O'Conner is one for the ages. Her grace, intellect, and rack will be missed by all, no matter who the replacement.
In the release regarding the announcement, the LGBT groups give no indication of who they'd like to see replace Alito as the nomination; however, we hear rumors that they have their eye on some nice, young, Provincetown-based judge named Marriageallower Dontaskdonttellrepealer.
Hmm, must be French.
