'O-ho the Wells Fargo Wagon is a-comin' down the street, but not for Focus on the Family'
Due to the money movers' decision to contribute money to GLAAD, the focused on gay stigmatization folks at Focus on the Family have announced that they have ended their banking relationship with Wells Fargo. Regarding FOF's "All's Not Well, Fargo" position, president and CEO Jim Daly says:
"Focus on the Family has elected to end its banking relationship with Wells Fargo, motivated primarily by the bank’s ongoing efforts to advance the radical homosexual agenda. These efforts are in direct opposition to the underlying principles and purpose of Focus, and thus a decision of conscience had to be made, and a stand taken."
Relatedly, we at G-A-Y have decided to never again watch our friend Chris Wells' Fargo DVD, because it skips. Regarding the "upper Midwestern accents aren't as fun when they're punctuated with pauses" decision, Good As You founder Jeremy Hooper says:
"Good As You has elected to stop viewing Chris Wells' Fargo DVD, motivated primarily by the lack of concern he has shown for the disc's longevity. This disregard is in direct opposition to the director's intent for a skip-free viewing experience, and thus a McDormand/Buscemi/H. Macey-centric decision had to be made, and a new copy purchased."
We will call off our boycott once Chris buffs out his scratches; FOF will call off theirs once someone finds a cure for "the gay."
