Single -- Australian for queer
Responding to the legalization of gay civil partnerships in the UK, Australian Prime Minister John Howard reinforced his opposition to such a concept yesterday, saying, "...I believe very strongly that marriage is exclusively a union for life of a man and a woman to the exclusion of others."
Responding to Howards comments, we just smiled and gave him a Vegemite sandwich, and we said, "Do you come from a land down under? Where women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover."
