CNN gives $$$ to aspiring gay journos; doesn't ask for 'change'
The 24 hour news junkies at CNN have announced that they're donating $100,000 to the National Lesbian & Gay Journalist Association Scholarship Fund, which will be awarded in $5,000 increments to a deserving LGBT student who wants to pursue a career in journalism. As far as we know, however, LGBT students who merely want to pursue a career in Anderson Cooper are ineligible for the prize. Tough luck, aspiring ACoopthropogists.
The donation is said to be the single largest gift ever give to the organization by a news media outlet, which means, of course, that Fox News must have given $99,999.99.
