Groups encourage prez to use State of Union to state opposition to unions
On their website, the Christian Civic League of Maine says that they recently joined almost seventy "pro-family organizations" who on December 20th sent a letter to Prez Bush, encouraging the Commander in Chief to support a queer marriage-banning amendment in his upcoming State of the Union Address.
Not to be outdone, we've decided to send 'W' a text message in which we will encourage the Head of State to say the word "poopy" and make underarm fart noises whenever he gets a full standing O.
No word if Bushie will honor the request and voice opposition to gay marriage when he delivers his January 31 speech, though it is fairly certain that the Christian Civic League of Maine will continue to convey such sentiment whenever they talk to anyone about anything at any time, anywhere.
