I suspect Miss Scarlett Johansson in the Queer Lounge with the Rope of Pearls
When the Sundance Film Festival kicks off this weekend, so will the Queer Lounge, returning for the third straight consecutive year to dutifully serve attendees as the only gay organization officially sanctioned by Redford's cinematic carnival. Filled with panels, parties, events, readings, and a whole lot of "the gay," the Lounge will be open to serve the homo-centric needs of festival goers, and to quite possibly set the record for the most utterances of the words 'Brokeback Mountain' in a single week.
Rosie O’Donnell, Gus Van Sant, and Armistead Maupin are just some of the names scheduled to headline various Lounge events; well-dressed man with bulging biceps, power dyke in a slickly tailored suit, and recently transitioned M2F who's still trying to get the voice down, are just some of the folks scheduled to serve as attendees.
If you're heading to Park City then...well, then get out of our faces, as we are stuck in Manhattan during a dreary January and really don't wanna hear about your fabulous jet-setting lifestyle right now. Though we do hope you enjoy the Queer Lounge; please be sure to tell us all about it once spring emerges and our disposition warms up a bit.
