Like a basic cable Jimmy Carter, ANT to serve as televised ambassador
The Viacom-financed homosexuals over at Logo have announced plans for a new series in which omnipresent gay comedian ANT will visit small towns in America and check out the queer scene in the various locales. Meaning, of course, that Mario Cantone must have already been booked.
In a shocking bout of restraint, the term "ANT farm" has not been utilized anywhere in the show's tentative title, with the planned series currently working under the moniker, "U.S. of ANT." This is not to be confused with the Food Network's planned series, "U.S. of Aunt Jemima," in which the slightly politically incorrect syrup will travel the country kicking Mrs. Butterworth's arse in various American cities.
Look for "U.S. of ANT" to hit Logo's air this summer; look for Mrs. Butterworth to hit back, if only in the fictional realm of our overactive imagination.
